Born in 1969, an Egyptian artist residing in Cairo. Graduated from the Faculty of Art Education - Helwan University in 1993. He held several solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions at the local and international levels. In most of his works over the course of several years, the artist Tarek El-Sheikh chose to express what is going on in his mind through a single hero who crosses the entire surface alone or retreats, leaving a large space around him. And I try and continue. The hero in the sheikh’s artistic experience is the human being, and in his project he continues to present his favorite plot in which he practices the merging between the outward features of the Aragouz doll and the human body to instill in it a pure human impulse through attempts to embody an aspect of the psychological characteristics imposed by the reality of life that pressures him and the nature of his interaction with it that takes improvised or sarcastic, despite its painful impact and resounding impact on his inner self.
